Specifically deisgned with the larger dogs in mind, I have designed a 30mm wide flat leather collar - which can feature many of our popular wool fabrics.  For these collars oak tanned bridle leather is used - this is a firmer, stronger leather that will break in and age beautifully.  The collars are also lined with leather, so are more sturdy than some of our other styles.  The edge of the fabric is protected by tough weatherproof cotton oilskin to help avoid fraying.

These collars come in solid brass hardware only.  You can customise by choosing a colour for the leather strap keeper or opt for it to be the same oak bridle leather.

The wool fabric can either be brushed clean when dry with a soft brush or handwashed when needed.  Always dry leather away from direct heat (radiators etc).  The leather can be cleaned with saddle soap from time to time.  I recommend treating with a natural leather balm once the leather is dry after getting wet.

You will need your dogs neck size as these collars are made to size order.  Measure with a soft tape at the level their collar would sit, tight to their skin/fur.  This will be used for the minimum setting of the collar, so there will be plenty of adjustment.  If you are unsure, please get in touch!

Due to the pattern repeat size of Pendleton fabric, no two collars will be the same and placement can vary.  I will always aim to get the most interesting part of the pattern for the size of collar.

We recommend removing ALL accessories from your dogs for their safety when they are left unattended at home.

  • Muddy wool can simply be left to dry and then brushed clean most of the time. Washing the collar with a leather strap must be by handwash only & avoid soaking the leather, hand dry.  The leather strap can benefit from the application of a leather care balm from time to time.
